Construction Jobs

As a $220 million, 360,000 square-foot project, the new expansion will have a massive impact on the local construction industry and availability of jobs in that sector. St. Joseph's plan will provide for 600 new construction jobs. The jobs may be temporary, but they will provide valuable experience to workers.

St. Joseph's has collaborated with Metropolitan Development Association's "Green Train" to provide on-the-job training in green construction to Northside workers. After the project is completed, the workforce will emerge specialized in green construction and urban development - valuable skills in today's green-conscious world.
