Solar Power

St. Joseph's will strive to incorporate solar power into its phase two facility expansion. Solar power makes electricity without polluting through rooftop mounted panels. These special panels offer a capacity of 100 kilowatts and 120,800 kWh per year are expected to be generated through solar power.

The approximate cost is expected to be $1 million cost with electricity savings of about $13,500 per year. In addition, St. Joseph's will be able to reduce its CO2 emissions by 77 metric tons each year.
